A fin-keeled Westerly Tempest first launched in 1988, Miranda is a fast, safe cruising yacht of Westerly sound build quality and Ed Dubois sea-worthy design. Twin double aft cabins and forward heads provide comfortable accommodation while the spacious, well laid-out cockpit with sprayhood, dodgers, lazy-jacks and all sail-handling lines provides a safe sailing environment. Volvo 2002 2-cylinder 18hp diesel engine, sea water cooled, serviced annually, approx 3800 hrs. Engine last serviced January 2019. New sound insulation 2010. Single lever controls with electric start. Shaft drive via P-bracket (serviced 2018) to folding 2-blade propeller (serviced January 2019) with rope cutter. Rev counter. New fuel tank fitted in January 2019.

The Westerly Tempest offers 6/7 berths in 3 cabins with aprox 6 3 max headroom.
