The Westerly Spirit 25 offers 6 berths in one single cabin with 6ft headroom.
The forward double berth has a privacy curtain, moving aft the saloon offers settees around a central saloon table provide two single berths with under berth storage and shelving behind.
A chart table is located on the starboard side with chart storage, VHF, GPS unit and vessel control switches.
The galley is located on the port side and is equipped with a gimbaled 2-burner gas hob with an oven and grill, a single stainless-steel sink with pressurised cold water, coolbox and storage units around the galley area. This vessel also benefits from a 68 Litre freshwater capacity tank.
Opposite the Galley to port is the heads compartment with a marine toilet and a white sink set in a vanity unit offering pressurised pumped cold water.
Aft of the galley is a double berth with hanging locker and opening hatch which makes it light and airy.
This Westerly Spirit 25 has blue upholstery, carpet and curtains throughout which give warm feel to the boat which is enhanced by a diesel cabin heating that was fitted in 2023.
The companionway steps lead to the aft cockpit, featuring bench seating for up to six people and generous storage located to starboard. The cockpit instrumentation includes a compass, wind direction indicator, and speed log, with engine controls positioned at the rear.

History & Construction:
Built by Westerly’s at the end of 1992 and not launched until 1993. Features a White GRP hull and decks with painted non-slip surfaces, cast iron bolt on bilge keels, tiller steering with a spade hung rudder, anodised aluminium toe rails, Stainless steel stanchions, pulpit and pushpit quarters. The Westerly Spirit 25 benefits from a sugar scoop stern, teak batten cockpit seats and self-draining cockpit.
This Westerly Spirit 25 was last out of the water in 2024, when she was last antifouled, her anodes replaced, and the hull was gel shield coated after a long period ashore. The current owner has enjoyed the vessel for the last 5 years and is now looking to sell due to buying a new motorboat boat. We previously sold this yacht to the last two owners.

Spars and Sails:
This Westerly Spirit 25 features a fractional, Bermudan, sloop rig, with a deck-stepped aluminium Kemp mast and boom with stainless steel standing rigging. Equipped with a furling, self tacking headsail and an in-mast furling mainsail. The standing rigging is original from 1992 and Terylene running rigging was replaced in 2009.
This Westerly Spirit benefits from an aluminium spinnaker pole.

Mechanical Systems:
This Westerly Spirit 25 is equipped with a Volvo 2001B, single cylinder, 9hp diesel engine located under companionway steps. Propelling a two blade fixed propeller with rope cutter. The saildrive gaiter was changed in 2018. This Volvo 2001B is seawater cooled with Single lever Morse controls and supplied by a 40-litre plastic fuel tank. The owner has offered to service this engine before the sale completes.
Electrical Systems:
2 x 12-volt batteries (1x engine 45AH + 1 x domestic 93AH) both batteries were replaced in 2024 and charge from the alternator.
