A 35 foot motor sailor regarded as the 'sailors motor sailor' as she sails well. As 'Riviera' technical member of the owners club, I advised many other owners on all aspects of this superb vessel. A substantial yacht with the ability to make serious passages safely. 500 litres of water and 250 litres of diesel give her a massive range of 600nm. A fin keel but only drawing 4'6" enables her to explore the canals and rivers. Commissioned 1992/3. Light usage and continuously upgraded. Has virtually everything a sailor would dream of having coupled with a dry and protected original hull. New saloon upholstery, windlass, chain, pilot, radio, instruments, batteries, new toilets and plumbing, standing/running rigging etc etc. Two full heads and showers. Cruises at 6.5 knots and capable of 8 knots. Maintained by an eccentric engineer the engine and gearbox are original and excellent, using no oil.
Sailed down to Spain/Portugal 3 years ago and stayed 3 months. Single handed Biscay return. Boat sails across the channel at least twice each year.Built under Lloyds of London supervision and bearing the famous plaque. This yacht is all about quality and this is an opportunity to buy one of the last off the production line. Hit a whale with this one and it will have one heck of a head ache! Will be around long after modern yachts have expired. This yacht puts many 40' yachts to shame.
The owner of a 41' Beneteau came on board and gasped. He told me: "This has more space than my boat". A beam of 12'3" makes for lots of space.
Winterised ashore for 7 months in private club. Sometimes you get substantially more than you pay for. Full survey 5 years ago and engine survey. Excellent dry hull on purchase and I immediately added 3 additional coats of gelshield on purchase.(total 6) Although built 1989/1990, she was not commissioned till 1992/3 and then sailed lightly till I got her in 2014.
