“Volatus” is a bilge keel version of the popular Riviera of which some 70 were built. She was commissioned 1989 , Sail No R33. She enjoys wheel steering both in the wheelhouse, ideal for west coast cruising, and in the spacious cockpit.
The deck saloon offers a lot of space with comfortable U shaped sofa, with excellent upholstery and locker space behind the backrest.
To starboard there is a well-equipped galley with two ring, grill and oven cooker, ample drawer space for utensils, sink which enjoys pressurised hot and cold water.
Forward from the galley is the interior helm station.
The selling point of the Riviera is that both forward (Double) and aft (Double) cabins enjoy en suite heads with hot and cold water and showers.
“Volatus” has been well cared for and maintained during her current ownership.
2013 Main in mast furling and other items were replaced by RIG Scotland total cost £3941 the bevel drive unit alone cost £1235

Volatus enjoys a double aft cabin and double berth fore cabin, both with en-suite heads and shower facilities which have hot and cold pressurised water.
The Deckhouse / saloon has generous seating around the table and superb visibility when seated through the generous windows. The owner has had the wheel house vinyl lining professionally refurbished.
Ample storage is provided which includes refinished locker space behind the saloon seating.
The Galley has pressurised hot and cold water, gas cooker (Boat Safety Scheme Certified) and generous drawer and locker space, varnished work refurbished in recent years.
